Kardashian-Jenner Sisters Are Shutting Down Their Apps In 2019

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – The Kardashian-Jenner family has announced that they will officially shut down their apps starting 2019.

An official statement was released through Kim Kardashian-West’s official website on Wednesday. In the statement it was revealed that all official apps for Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner will no longer be operational starting 2019. Kendall Jenner made the same move last year, when she announced that her own app would no longer receive updates by 2018.

“We truly hope you’ve enjoyed this journey as much as we have, and we look forward to what’s ahead,” the statement read.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” stars launched individual apps in 2015, following the massive success of Kim’s mobile game, to give fans an deeper glimpse into their personal lives. According to Variety, each of the five sisters had a hand in designing the overall look and feel of their own apps as well as curating the contents to be posted.

The paid apps, developed by tech company Whalerock Industries, gave subscribers access to tutorials, tips, never-before-seen footages and photos, and other exclusive content. Subscribers were also able to follow the sisters’ whereabouts, ask them questions, and win giveaways for just $2.99 a month.

Earlier this year, Kim also announced that they were closing their DASH clothing stores, which the family has been running since 2006.The boutique already had locations in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami, and was heavily featured in multiple seasons of their E! reality show.

Kim explained that although they loved working on DASH, they’ve been very busy running their own brands and taking care of their families.
